CHATS has partnered with Camp Ohana, a nonprofit in Africa, to connect Hawaii-based speech and language resources to kids in Kenya!

How? By sharing aloha, friendship, and trust via virtual sessions; providing tablets, speech apps, Wifi, and communication with speech-language professionals

Why? Because kids have undiagnosed speech-language challenges in a less-than nurturing environment

When? It is happening NOW. A tablet has been hand-delivered to the kids (4/2024); Wifi structure/access is being set up in the coming month; we are in talks with local speech professionals
